Returns Policy
You may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- All costs for return shipment are the responsibility of the customer.
- We will pay the return shipping costs only IF the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
- When returning an item choose a reliable shipping company that offers tracking and delivery confirmation. Please remember to include your order number and/or packing slip.
- Once we receive the item and inspect it we will issue a credit back to your original method of payment. You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Vintage Items
All vintage sales are final. This includes vintage furniture. We cannot accept returns on vintage items or vintage furniture.

Shipping
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
If orders are requested for Express Shipping, The Silver Oyster is not responsible for Mail Carriers not delivering on time or for inclement weather.
The Silver Oyster does not issue refunds for Shipping.
Furniture Shipping
We can assist with coordination of shipping for larger items through a third party shipper that delivers to your area. We will provide an approximate shipping quote upon request. Please inquire at quotes@thesilveroysterhome.com with your city, state and zip code to receive a furniture quote.
We ship anywhere in the USA. Typical shipping costs via freight carrier or blanket mover (depending on delivery area) are:
Settees, Sofas, Chair Sets: $350 to $550
Larger Sofas and Case Pieces (i.e. China Cabinets, Dressers): $350 to $650
Single Chairs: $180 to $300
