Sep 23rd 2020

With Fall just around the corner, we are starting to prepare for the upcoming season. We are getting our fall clothes out of storage, turning on our ovens again for baking, and decorating our homes to fit the season.

This fall, be sure your home is ready for the next few months. Here are six items you will need for all the fall vibes.

1. Cozy Knit Throw

With the weather getting chiller, it is a wonderful thing to have a cozy blanket or throw to snuggle with. A knit one is great because it mimics all of the toasty sweaters we wear around this time of year. Plus, it adds a lot of texture to a space. PS, pillow cases love the sweater look as well.

Another easy update is swapping out our table runners and cloths for something a little more fall themed. With the upcoming fall holidays, it is a smart décor item, as everyone will notice it when sitting around the dining room table for Thanksgiving!

These area beautiful decorative addition to any front door. Setting the stage for the rest of your space, it shows people that you are celebrating the season. 5. Pumpkins and Gourds

Another way to decorate with the harvest season in mind is through pumpkins and gourds. This is a classic when it comes to fall decorating because it is so easy to achieve. Get a large bowl, glass vase, or some other contain to decorate with smaller pumpkins/gourds. For larger pumpkins, create vignettes with different shapes or sizes, or stack them on the steps for a nice way to welcome guests.

Switching out wall art is an easy solution to revamping a room. The pros of this are that wall art is relatively easy to store, as opposed to pillow covers and decorative objects. This way you can have many pieces on hand for a totally transformed space. Great images and art for fall include scenes of fall forests, apple orchards, pumpkin patches, or other images that invoke the feeling of fall.
